Announcing Our New Director of Programs!

I am so excited to share with you that after an extensive search, we have found our new Director of Programs: Jeremiah J. Allen!

Many of you know Jeremiah from his time working with Pride Foundation from 2015 – 2018. As Project Director of TRANSform Washington, Pride Foundation’s public education project, Jeremiah worked to uphold the rights and safety of trans and gender diverse people and their families in the midst of several anti-trans ballot initiatives. For the past year, Jeremiah has been leading diversity, equity, and inclusion work in the public sector.

We are thrilled to welcome Jeremiah back onto our staff in this new role that will lead Pride Foundation’s programs into the future, as they shift to be more responsive to regional needs, to reflect our racial justice values, and to better effect change for LGBTQ+ communities.

Jeremiah brings years of experience working toward LGBTQ+, racial, and gender justice, and he is enthusiastic about being back at Pride Foundation at this particular moment of organizational transformation. In his free time, Jeremiah enjoys exploring the Pacific NW with his three amazing kids, reading all things nonfiction, journaling, and writing poetry.

In the four years I’ve had the honor of knowing and working with Jeremiah, I’ve deeply appreciated his radical authenticity, his naturally engaging leadership, and the energy and creativity he brings to everything he does, from everyday tasks to high-level strategy. I’ve been continually inspired by his deep commitment to collaboration, the genuine and trusting relationships he builds, and his profound dedication to shifting culture so that everyone can be their whole selves.

You can read more about the newest member of our team on our website—or reach out directly to say hello.

We hope you’ll join us in warmly welcoming Jeremiah back to the Pride Foundation team in his new role!
