Mitchell is currently the Human Resources Manager at Inatai Foundation. As part of the human resources team, Mitchell implements the foundation’s talent strategy, including for current and future staffing needs, recruitment, retention, and succession planning. He also analyzes trends in compensation and benefits and helps put into place compensation policy and programs. Most recently, Mitchell served as the advancement and communications officer for the University of Washington (UW) Department of Biology, where he managed a robust portfolio of endowments, advancement projects, and donor stewardship events. Previously, Mitchell worked with Solid Ground and with Asian Pacific Islander Americans for Civic Empowerment (APACE) to advance affordable housing and voter engagement initiatives.

Mitchell interned with Pride Foundation in college and has continued being involved as a grants and scholarship reviewer. He is incredibly excited to serve more deeply with an organization that is so connected with his community and lived experiences.
