Jason is a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines. Previously, he worked in finance and investments for 20+ years and spent over 17 years working within a mutual fund operations team with a global investment firm based in Seattle. Jason has extensive experience within operational teams in designing and implementing oversight and controls.
Jason grew up in the Pacific Northwest and graduated from Portland State University with a degree in sociology. He has lived in the Seattle area for more than 20 years, and he currently resides in Mercer Island with his husband, Robert Heuer. Since beginning his relationship with Pride Foundation more than a decade ago as a volunteer on the scholarship review committee, Jason has found it rewarding to help have a direct impact on the future leaders of the LGBTQ community. Pride Foundation has been a positive learning experience for Jason regarding specific LGBTQ issues across the Northwest and has provided a great opportunity for him to give back to the community in a meaningful way.
