Jamila’s entrepreneurial heart has guided her last 17 years of supporting organizations in developing unrestricted revenue strategies that leverage their community, internal skills, and talents. Her development portfolio includes a mix of government, corporate, foundation, sponsorship, and social enterprise funding. Before joining Pride Foundation, Jamila was interim Executive Director for Leadership Launch, a youth leadership development organization in Northern Washington. She also owns an independent consulting agency providing project management, development, and grant writing services to small non-profit agencies nationwide. 

When not working, you can find her puzzling at the kitchen table or off visiting locations hundreds of miles from home. Jamila is an alumni of Howard University but received her bachelors from California University of Pennsylvania. She also studied Executive Business Management at Indiana University of PA. She lives in South Seattle with her partner and pup, Louie.
