Pride Foundation is headquartered in the gorgeous Emerald City—Seattle, Washington. Our work extends throughout the entire state, with staff and board members on the ground in Seattle, Olympia, and Ellensburg.
Though Seattle may be seen by many as a haven for LGBTQ+ people and families, this is not the reality of many people living in the Evergreen State. From legislative attacks on the rights of trans and gender diverse folks, to devastatingly high rates of LGBTQ+ youth homelessness, to inequities that disproportionately impact LGBTQ+ communities of color—the ongoing threats against our communities throughout Washington are real.
Despite these challenges, our community’s work to address these inequities is creative, determined, and filled with passion. We hope you take a moment to read about our efforts to build a better, safer, and more equitable Washington.
