The Ric Ulrich and Chuck Pischke Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Ric Weiland in 1998 for LGBTQ and allied students studying visual arts and design.

About this scholarship:

Ric Ulrich and Chuck Pischke were close friends and moved to Seattle from Oregon. Ric was an artist and lived in Seattle until he died of AIDS in 1990. Chuck was an interior designer and lived in Seattle until he died from AIDS in 1994. This scholarship was established to celebrate and honor their passion for art and the LGBTQ community.
