Pride Foundation Scholarship Program Comes of Age!

Do you remember what you did for your 21st Birthday?

For 21 years, Pride Foundation’s scholarship program has been awarding funds to students in the Northwest. We know how to celebrate and for our 21st birthday we are excited to announce that we will award over $400,000 in scholarships to support the future leaders in our communities.

Our scholarships are for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ) students; students who have LGBT parent(s); and/or students who are straight allies and are committed to working for social justice in the LGBTQ community in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. Students can be of any age and pursuing any post-secondary education, including community college, public or private colleges and universities, trade schools/apprenticeships, or certificate programs. There are fifty different scholarships with awards up to $20,000—but only one web-based application to complete!

Applications are available online at and are due by 5:00 p.m. PST on January 15, 2014.

Are you a student? You should be applying!

Are you a volunteer who supports LGBTQ students? You could be reviewing applications!

Are you a donor waiting for the right moment? That moment is now!

Every fall, Pride Foundation’s scholarship application opens. The students applying for a Pride Foundation Scholarship are amazing! We also know that getting an education is not getting easier, especially financially.

What are you waiting for?

Applications are available online at https://pridefoundation.org/scholarships/ and are due by 5:00 p.m. PST on January 15, 2014.
