The report includes a succinct overview of the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ community starting on page 121.

Is the Nonprofit Sector Stuck??

This article sparked a lot of passionate discussion among non-profit and foundation professionals from a diverse swath of organizations – history, size, budget and mission.  At its core, the message from the author is that non-profits (and foundations and those who lead both) are often stuck in habits that no longer help them meet their mission and are missing the call of leadership that includes thoughtful risk, engagement in advocacy work and innovative fundraising.  A provocative read!
