Montana Pride Network (MPN) celebrates the second year of Bozeman Pride with a weekend full of drag, music, a parade, rally and other events aimed at celebrating Montana’s LGBTQ community in all our diverse glory. MPN generously donated $3,500 to Pride Foundation’s grants and scholarships in Montana and we’ve worked closely with the Bozeman Pride Planning Committee to plan some fun events you won’t want to miss.
Pride Foundation will host a breakfast mixer co-sponsored by our friends at Montana Women Vote from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the lesbian-owned Nova Café with openly LGBTQ elected officials and candidates. The Pride festival celebration has a more political flavor this year, with all three openly LGBTQ legislators (Senator Christine Kaufmann, Representative Diane Sands, and Representative Bryce Bennett), plus Montana Human Rights Network lobbyist Jamee Greer being the grand marshals of the parade.
At 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Pride Foundation will host a free buffet dinner at the Montana State University Student Union Building that will highlight the impact of our grants and scholarships across the state this year. RSVPs are requested for both events; contact me by email or call or text 406.546.7017.
I look forward to seeing you at the Pride festival in Bozeman–and don’t forget to stop by our table! Rumor has it there may be fingernail painting again this year…
