Lora is a software developer and former journalist based in Idaho. She has spent more than a decade working in the technology sector across financial technology, nonprofit health education, and healthcare-focused startup environments. She specializes in test automation and web accessibility.
Before transitioning into computer science, Lora worked as a journalist covering business, technology, and development. She is a queer bisexual cisgender woman and has volunteered for many years in scholarship and grant review processes, as well as in regional leadership efforts. She also established a scholarship fund supporting LGBTQIA+ students pursuing education in STEM fields.
In her spare time, Lora runs sound and lighting for community theater, hikes, creates cosplay outfits, and writes and illustrates graphic novels, comics, and zines. She lives in Idaho with her dogs, Kubernetes and Kate.
