Thirty-four years ago, a courageous group of activists, friends, and neighbors came together to create a critical resource that our community in the Northwest urgently needed—a foundation that would create a source of light, hope, and support for LGBTQ+ people during a period of profound darkness.
Since then, the passion, innovation, and vision of our founders has driven Pride Foundation’s collective work to create a better future for LGBTQ+ people and our families across the Northwest.
From the more than 1,800 Pride Foundation Scholars who have received financial and community support since 1993, to the community-based organizations that rely on Pride Foundation grants in every corner of the region, to the recent production of the award-winning virtual reality film series Authentically US that lifts up the stories of trans and gender diverse people—our work together is changing lives every day.
