The Robert Browning Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Ric Weiland in 1993 to support students studying health sciences or health services.

About this scholarship:

Robert Browning grew up in Auburn, Washington and later attended the University of Washington. He made his home in Seattle, where he practiced dentistry. Robert was also very interested in music—he was a cellist and loved the opera. He died of AIDS in November of 1991. This scholarship was created to honor Robert’s passion for music, health sciences, education, and the LGBTQ community.
