Josh Hemsath represents Pride Foundation as the Regional Philanthropic Officer in Alaska. In his role he builds the capacity of the local LGBTQ movement by sustaining local partnerships with supporters across the state of Alaska, developing local leaders, and raising the visibility of the LGBTQ and allied community. Prior to Pride Foundation, he worked with Planned Parenthood, Commonwealth North, and the Blood Bank of Alaska. Outside of Pride Foundation, he volunteers with the boards of the Foraker Group and the Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center. He has also volunteered with the Anchorage Concert Foundation, Story Works Alaska, and ACLU of Montana. He is also currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program at the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. He loves Brussels sprouts and his favorite flavor of La Croix is Peach-Pear.
